Money Smart Week is a program created by the Federal Reserve Bank in Chicago. Since 2002, the Federal Reserve and many community partners, including the Chicago Treasurer’s Office, have worked together to present financial literacy programming for all ages during the first week in April.
Join the Chicago City Treasurer’s Office for Money Smart Week to be held April 9-16, 2022. CTO Money Smart Week will support the free all-virtual experience providing informative financial literacy handouts and resources in City Hall all week long for all ages. The purpose of this week is to help our communities better manage their personal finances with a focus on those hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
All week long the Chicago Treasurer’s Office, along with our participating partners will host an informational table in City Hall focused on health, credit improvement, homeownership, social security benefits, and much more!
